CS GROUP PARTICIPATES IN NATO TECHNICAL INTEROPERABILITY EXERCISE (TIE23)
CS GROUP participated in TIE23 exercise, focused on counter-drone technical interoperability, which took place from 12 to 22 September 2023 in Vredepeel, in the Netherlands. This was the third edition for TIE exercice, organized by NCIA (NATO Communication and Innovation Agency), and a third participation for CS GROUP.
During this exercise, 70 companies involved in the C-UAS industry jointly worked towards the same objective of interoperability.
CS GROUP once again took on the role of L16 Test Lead in this exercise, building on its double expertise in C-UAS and tactical data links (TDL).
CS GROUP has deployed two C2 solutions, BOREADES (C-UAS) and Starlinx (L16) over the TIE23 exercise. All interconnections were made through SAPIENT (Sensing for Asset Protection with Integrated Electronic Networked Technology) with the various sensors and effectors participating to the exercise, and CS GROUP has demonstrated great results by integrating these third-party products seamlessly into its BOREADES C2. We have also demonstrated C2-to-C2 interoperability through L16, as well as SAPIENT. BOREADES has established itself as a SAPIENT reference C2 for C-UAS applications.
This new edition of the exercise brought together NATO experts, military personnel, representatives of the C-UAS industry and a large number of visitors and VIPs in a collaborative and constructive mindset. We had the unique opportunity to train military users to operate BOREADES within only 15 minutes, and their feedback on its intuitivity and ease of operation was excellent.
See you next year for TIE24!
