CS, as the exclusive C-UAS integrator, took part in the TIE 2025 exercise in Portugal, dedicated to NATO system interoperability.

Our BOREADES C2 system performed perfectly during the SAPIENT tests, reconfirming its performance and reliability in complex, multi-actor environments.

We are proud to be working alongside the NCIA (NATO Communications and Information Agency) as part of the REPMUS exercise dedicated to testing autonomous systems and new maritime capabilities, we renew our commitment to supporting NATO in integrating its sensors and effectors through our cutting-edge command and control solutions.

In the current context, where the drone threat is constantly growing, CS is more committed than ever to working with NATO to strengthen the security and resilience of its systems.

 

The SYPROMAR project demonstration, born from an operational need expressed by the CEPN (Naval Programs Expertise Center), aimed at proving the feasibility of using a light C-UAS system for maritime surveillance missions, both statically along the coastline and dynamically onboard a moving vessel. It took place from June 25 to 27 at the Toulon Naval Base.

We had the honor of presenting our BOREADES solution to a panel of guests – including representatives from the armed forces, the naval base, and the DGA – through five scenarios. This demonstration highlighted new features of the BOREADES system, particularly in terms of mobility, L16/CRIMSON interoperability, AI-based drone/maritime detection capabilities, and the Catcher drone.

                                                                                               

This demonstration was particularly rich in interactions and made a lasting impression on the many guests in attendance. It was a genuine success, praised by the participants, thanks to the dedication and resilience of our teams.

The NATO Technical Interoperability Exercise (TIE 2024) took place from September 10 to 20, 2024, in the Netherlands. This annual exercise brought together over 450 participants from 19 allied nations and 3 partner countries, including Ukraine. Its main objective was to test the integration and interoperability of more than 60 counter-drone systems.

CS GROUP took an active part in the exercise, deploying a team of experts from its Plessis, Toulon, Aix, and CS Canada sites to evaluate the interoperability of its BOREADES C2 system. The event also marked the deployment of a brand-new L16 gateway integrated into BOREADES.

                                                     

Throughout numerous live flight vignettes, CS GROUP demonstrated its ability to interface with SAPIENT-compliant sensors and effectors. The company also reaffirmed its leading position in Link 16 integration, thanks to its dual expertise in C-UAS systems and tactical data links (TDL).

In addition, a Performance Challenge was held, featuring blind scenarios with the system operated by military personnel who had been trained in advance by our experts. CS GROUP partnered with SAAB (radar), Blue Halo (jammer), Open Works (camera), and D-Fend (cyber effector). Five other teams also took part in the Performance Challenge, and the evaluator ranked our team well ahead of the competition. As a result, BOREADES was prominently showcased during the VIP Day.

This fourth participation in TIE was once again a resounding success and further reinforced CS GROUP’s status as a key reference in counter-drone interoperability. The company continues to deliver state-of-the-art performance and actively contributes to the NATO-level standardization of the SAPIENT protocol (STANREC).
